These two bull elk went at it before the sun was even up. My friend who is also a professional photographer was with me when this fight occurred and he said in his 27 years as a photographer and more years than that hunting and being an outdoorsman he has never seen a fight so intense that lasted so long. When the shutter closed for this photograph I realized how close I actually was to these two bulls and I sold out for safer ground.
