There are two roosters that hang around like best of buds. Apparently they are rogue roosters and no one claims ownership of them. They have been loose right beside an incredibly busy street here in Boise for years and survived to crow about it. I finally decided to try to photograph them this morning and learned a lot from a neighbor across the street from where these guys hang out. His wife adores these roosters and he says he spends a lot of money feeding roosters that aren't even his. They roost like turkey's in a nearby tree.

The boss rooster is the green and tan one, the red one is subordinate, But I guess a couple years back the boss lost his tail feathers and the power shifted to Mr. Red. For only a little while however.
