This is the home of the gentleman and his family that reported this owl. The owl would be nearby even when the kids were playing in the yard with the dog and the owl would pounce on any mice the kids and dog would stir up in the grass. A very bad windstorm had passed through this area and devastated thousands of trees throughout the county, it may be this severe wind that brought this owl into the area to begin with.
