When I was a younger man, I spent a lot of time at Wastwater Head, camping, walking and climbing, and enjoying the lively sing-a-long nights in the pub.
I loved this view, and romantically imagined that these were the mountainous walls of Tolkien's Mordor...this image takes me back to that time, and captures something of what I saw and experienced back then.
