The Lagoon Nebula (M8) is a bright and large nebula in Sagittarius, it's full of many interesting features and structures.
In its brightest area, below centre in this image, there is a bow tie shaped feature known as the hourglass nebula.
I have intentionally processed it in order to reveal the wealth of inner nebula structures, deep inside the bright nebula,
while still respecting the relevant brightness variations, hopefully this keeps it looking natural and looking gaseous.

Data collected over two nights 18 & 19 July 2025, in generally good seeing (1.6" - 2.0")**
**NB: No drizzle guide, upscaling, Blur Exterminator or other AI based sharpening, was used on this
data, this is the native 0.68"/pix image scale, using just traditional Richardson Lucy deconvolution.
Seeing (FWHM) quality at Eagleview:
Excellent: <1.6"
Good: 1.6" - 1.9"
Acceptable: 2.0" - 2.3"
Poor: >2.3"
Most common FWHM value: 1.6"/1.7"
