Inside the Lagoon Nebula

Click on image to see a close up

The Lagoon Nebula (M8) is a bright and large nebula in Sagittarius, it's full of many interesting features and structures.
In its brightest area, below centre in this image, there is a bow tie shaped feature known as the hourglass nebula.
I have intentionally processed it in order to reveal the wealth of inner nebula structures, deep inside the bright nebula,
while still respecting the relevant brightness variations, hopefully this keeps it looking natural and looking gaseous.
