The seeing conditions at Eagleview are excellent, this comparison compares results using the same imaging equipmnent, camera and telescope, with the same exposure
times and image processing software used. It illustrates well, the clear difference in site darkness and atmospheric conditions between the two locations. While
Wallaroo, the site of my previous observatory, is a modest distance beyond the outer suburbs of Canberra and at 600m AMSL, Eagleview is located three times further
from Canberra and sits up at 1450m AMSL, the difference is considerable and the improved atmospheric steadiness has been confirmed on every night of imaging and
visual observations over the last 18 months.
Averaging multiple stars across typical luminance frames, using MaximDL, the FWHM of the Eagleview image is 1.70"
