NGC 3313 in Hydra (full frame)

Full Frame

NGC 3313 is a large but surprisingly distant barred spiral galaxy, located at 180 million light years away, in the constellation Hydra. At that distance
it appears as a modest apparent size, listed as 4.2' X 3.5' in LEDA but in this deep exposure, the faintest outer arms extend out to 7' X 6' . NGC 3313
has a complete inner ring feature that is elongated along the bar axis of the galaxy. Inside the inner ring, there are two weak dust lanes in the bar, and
surrounding the nucleus there is a very circular nuclear ring. Spiral arms breaking off from the ring region have a complex structure and are tightly
wrapped around the ring. The arms trail out into the outer disk where they form a well-defined two-armed pattern. The two-armed pattern also appears to
take the form of an R1' outer pseudoring. Beyond this two-armed pattern, there are numerous spiral segments which extend to much larger distances.
There is also some very faint Milky Way cirrus dust visible across the image, particularly in the lower right corner of the full frame image.

Comments
Data collected over one night, 15 March 2021, no moon, seeing varied from poor to good for the Luminance and generally average for the RGB. 7hrs of
data was collected, three 10min Luminance subs were discarded due to poor seeing and wind buffering the telescope.

Would enjoy giving you a bear hug if we ever finally meet Sakib! XX...yes that field around 5018 looks rather attractive huh?...

This is amazing! I wish I could hug you! I wonder what your version of NGC 5018 would look like? So many galaxies to choose from in Hydra.
