The yellow arrowhead indicates the farthest extremities of Halpha revealed
With 17.5hr of Halpha data, this image reveals the outer extremities of the Cen A jet are some 30 arc min from the core of Centaurus A. This means that,
at a distance of 13 Million light years, material is being ejected well over 100,000 light years from the super massive black hole in the centre
of Centaurus A, that's equivalent to the distance across the entire disc of our own Milky Way galaxy!
