NGC 3132 The Eightburst Nebula - Full Frame

Click on image to see a close up

The full un-trimmed and un-cropped frame, to show how small NGC 3132 is on the sky!

This deep image shows the rarely seen full extent of the intricate shells and faint outer ionised
gas envelope around NGC 3132 in Vela. At only about 1.5' X 1' in size, this was a real test for my
scope and the local seeing conditions!
