Full Frame
Also known as Wray 17-1 this small faint planetary nebula is in Puppis and this is one of the few
images of it that exist and perhaps the only full colour image ever taken of this little beauty?
The faint extensions from the main ring are mostly ionised Oxygen and floating in a faint wafting
sea of red ionised Hydrogen (part of the huge Gum Nebula), it makes for a lovely scene.
