NGC 253 - Halo and Galactic Cirrus (Full Frame)

Almost Full Frame (trimmed) displayed at 50% of full resolution

This image reveals the full extent of the extended outer halo of stars around NGC 253,
this feature is very faint and is rarely seen in images of this galaxy.
