This animation shows two images of the Great Nebula in Orion, taken more than 27 years apart
(by me) with high quality amateur equipment for their respective times.

NB: some image quality has been lost in the giff animation construction process

Black and white image was taken in 1984 using a Celestron 5, cold camera and HP5 B&W film, 30min
