Presented annually by the Australian Museum, the Australian Museum Eureka Prizes reward excellence in the fields of research & innovation, science leadership, school science and science journalism & communication.
The Eureka Prize awards are the coverted prize in the Australian Science World, they are often referred to as the "Science Logies" or "Academy Awards of Australian Science"
In 2010 I was honoured that my image of Orions Sword finished runner up (2nd) in the Science Photography category sponsored by New Scientist magazine.
