11/19/2010 - Around 1820 hours the Abington Fire Department responded to a reported kitchen fire at 2 Maple Avenue, on the corner of Washington Street. Companies arrived to find a grease fire extended to the cabinets of a 2.5 story wood frame occupied dwelling. Companies stretched one line to knock down the fire. Whitman Engine-2 also assisted on-scene.
