11/17/2012 - Twenty four call-firefighters who are participating in the Plymouth County Fire Training Associations Firefighter I/II class attended a weekend practical day in Whitman practicing several techniques learned in previous classes. This class started in mid-October and will end in late-March with live fire evolution's. Guest lecturers for this class have included the Fire Chief's from Abington, Duxbury, Halifax and Hanson. This class has spent some time at the Massachusetts Fire Academy in Stowe also. The call-firefighters are from Duxbury, East Bridgewater, Halifax, Hanson, Kingston, Middleboro, Norwell, and West Bridgewater Fire Departments.
