11/09/2019 - WHITMAN, MASSACHUSETTS (PLYMOUTH COUNTY) - Around 2210 hours on the evening of Saturday, November 9, 2019 the Whitman Fire Department responded to a reported motor vehicle accident in the area of 334 School Street. Car-3, Engine-243 and Ambulance-249 responded. Companies arrived to find a single vehicle accident,where one car crashed into a telephone pole. One occupant was complaining of injuries and was transported to a local hospital. The car was positioned in such a way that it could not be removed from the pole until National Grid was able to secure it. The cause of the accident is under investigation.
