11/01/2009 - Detroit Central Dispatched announced a box alarm for this house fire at 1640 Clairmount Street. Heavy smoke could be seen in the distance from this 2.5 story vacant dwelling. Command requested an additional engine to this fire. After the heavy fire was knocked down, smoke could be seen from the eaves of the exposure building to the "B" side, a similiar vacant dwelling. Companies made entry to floor two and stretched on that dwelling to knock down the fire.
