10/27/2009 - East Bridgewater Police responded to the East Bridgewater Savings Bank at 29 Bedford Street around 1000 hours for a bank robbery. The caller reported that the bank was robbed and a package was left at the scene. The robber told the teller that he had a bomb before he fled south bound up Route-18. The Massachusetts State Police Bomb Squad responded to the scene and investigated with techs and a robot. The package was found to be empty.
