09/27/2008 - Ken, Dave, Eric and myself traveled to Buffalo NY for the weekend hoping to catch some fires. After the 1st Alarm on North Street the day was pretty slow. Nothing in the city was moving... no boxes, no investigation, no EMS runs. We took in the Buffalo Fire Museum, located at 1850 William Street in Buffalo. If anyone is ever in the Buffalo area, I definately suggest checking this out. A very nice job, done by some very knowledgable men. From there we visited the Buffalo Fire Boat (Engine 20). We were able to take a tour of the boat and go through the whole ship. The ship is run by retired jakes from Buffalo. All in all, the trip was a great time.
