09/13/2008 - Whitman MA struck two alarms for this fire at 608 Plymouth Street (Route 58). The call came into the firehouse just after 3AM. Firefighters arrived to find a 2-story woodframe barn fully involved. Whitman C-1 arrived and requested the second alarm. The building ultimately collapsed due to the heavy fire conditions. Firefighters were able to spare any extension to the 2-story woodframe dwelling that was in very close proximaty to the fire building.
