08/21/2012 - The Muscular Dystrophy Association held a lock-up to raise money for muscular dystrophy. MDA is the official charity of the International Fire Fighters Association. 53 people agreed to be "lock-up for good" and came in to Christo's in Brockton to make phone calls to solicit donations from friends, relatives, and local businesses. Participants also set up websites where they could accept donations online, and they collected donations personally prior to the event. At the days end, participants had raised over $47,000 for MDA.
