07/19/2011 - At a Selectmen's meeting FF/EMT-B Scott Lynn was recognized for his years of service and his recent retirement from the Whitman Fire Department on July 09, 2011. The Selectmen proclaimed July 9th, Scott Lynn Day. At the same meeting FF/EMT-P Chris Donahue was sworn in as Whitman's newest firefighter. Chris is taking the place of Scott on the department.
