05/29/2007 Abington MA firefighters were called to a reported brush fire on the power lines that run along Peregrine Road and Route-58. The fire was started by two kids who were playing with matches and fireworks on the power lines. The fire spread to the brush along the power lines and to some adjacent wooded areas along the lines. Whitman and Rockland sent brush trucks to work the fire, while Holbrook covered their station.
