05/21/2009 - Yonkers NY struck three alarms for this fire at 46 Caroline Avenue near Herriot Street around 1930 hours. The fire was in a 4-story wood framed occupied multiple dwelling. Mutual aid companies went to the scene and to cover. Local news outlets report that a firefighter was struck by a responding company on its way to the fire. That accident occured On Herriot Street near Broadway. He was transported to a Bronx hospital with, what they called, a severe leg injury. We arrived approximately an hour in to the fire and police were still doing an investigation of the accident. The article can be viewed here.
