05/10/2019 - BROCKTON, MASSACHUSETTS (PLYMOUTH COUNTY) - Around 0800 hours on the morning of Friday, May 10, 2019 the Brockton Fire Department struck Box-4533 for a reported house fire at 141 Quincy Street. Companies arrived to find a small fire in the basement of a 1.5-story wood framed, occupied dwelling. Crews stretched a pre-connected hand line to the rear of the building and were able to make a quick knock down. Crews worked to wet down, overhaul and check for extension in the basement. The fire reportedly involved a mattress and extended to the contents of the room. No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
