05/03/2010 - Four pediatric pedestrians were struck by a van, who fled the scene, at Blanchard Street at Church Street around 1600 hours. MedFlight was requested but was unavailable due to weather. Two-patients were in serious condition and were transported to South Shore Hospital. Two other patients suffered less serious injuries and were transported to the Brockton Hospital. Ambulances from Rockland, Abington, Hanover, and Whitman responded to the scene. The Massachusetts State Police Accident Reconstruction Team and Plymouth County Sheriffs Department BCI unit also responded.
