04/23/2008 - Whitman MA firefighters responded to a brush fire in the Colbrook Cemetary on Essex Street. Heavy fire and smoke could be seen from the street, but a quick response and attack on the fire knocked it down before it spread too far. Firefighters went to a second separate brush fire behind T&K on Industrial Way during this fire. A deck gun and numerous handlines were used to knock down that fire.
