04/11/2008 - Halifax MA firefighters responded to a reported house fire at 45 Hemlock Lane just before 2000 hours. Arriving companies found a heavy smoke condition and a fire in the basement. Companies were able to knock down the fire quickly in the basement with 1 line. Companies stretched another line to the first floor while checking for extension. Crews ventilated the building with out incident.
