04/08/2023 - WHITMAN, MASSACHUSETTS (PLYMOUTH COUNTY) - Around 1230 hours on the afternoon of Saturday, April 8, 2023 the Whitman Fire Department responded to a reported motor vehicle accident in the area of 495 Temple Street. Ambulance-248, Engine-243 and Car-3 responded. Companies arrived to find a single vehicle accident, with the vehicle on its side on the sidewalk. The lone occupant of the vehicle was self-extricated from the vehicle when companies arrived. The occupant was not injured, and refused medical services at the scene. The cause of the motor vehicle accident is under investigation, but it is possibly related to a mechanical failure with the vehicle.
