04/07/2014 - Around 1145 hours the Whitman Fire Department responded to several reports of a large outside fire in the area of 83 Lazel Street. Crews arrived to find an outside fire that had extended to two fences and a shed. A box was struck for manpower. Several hand lines were used to control the blaze.
