02/03/2010 - East Bridgewater MA firefighters were alerted to a reported house fire around 1900 hours, just as they were sitting down for a union meeting at the station. Police arrived on-scene first and reported a fire in the building. Car-1 signed off and reported smoke and fire showing from a duplex and requested the working fire assignment. Fire was in the attic space of the structure and was venting through the roof. The fire went to a total of three alarms, bringing several mutual aid companies in the town. At least one of the occupants animals appeared to perish in the blaze. No other injuries were reported.
