02/02/2011 - Around 1630 hours Whitman Fire received a call reporting a kitchen fire at 53 Dorothy Road. Engine-2, Ladder-1, Car-2, and Car-1 responded. Companies arrived to find nothing showing, but found a microwave fire that had extended to the cabinets of an occupied, 2-story residential home. The fire was knocked down with an extinguisher. Companies overhauled and checked for extension. No injuries were reported.
