01/05/2010 - East Bridgewater MA Firefighters responded to this house fire at 294 Crescent Street around 1300 hours. An East Bridgewater DPW worker spotted the fire and notified the fire department. A working fire was struck on-arrival with heavy smoke showing from the 1.5 story wood framed dwelling. Crews had fire on all floors of the home. In addition to East Bridgewater, Whitman and West Bridgewater sent engines to the fire. No one was home at the time of the incident. The families dog perished in the blaze. No other injuries were reported.
