My home in 1971. Located in the foothills above Ft. Collins. 39 acres. The driveway was 1 mile from the gate to the front door. NO running water (took sponge baths with water we hauled in). Outhouse was too far away in the winter, too close in the summer. Rattlesnakes lounged on the porch in warm weather. Daily body inspection required for ticks. We DID have electricity, a stereo, and Neil Young. A wonderful time in my life....
