Buckcreek feeds into the Cahaba, not sure the spot this was taken. My brothers and myself would take any old wooden fishing boat, or flat bottom metal boat we'd find along the muddy banks washed up after a flood and float from Buckcreek to the Cahaba fishing and swimming. Then walk back home from the spot just off Morgan road as close as we could to the highway for the long walk home. Simple times.
