Gridley World Invite, June 2-3, 2007

All glory to God for a wonderful weekend.

Huge thanks to all the brothers and sisters from Gridley and central Illinois who put in lots and lots of work for such a HUGE weekend! We thank the Lord and you for everything:)

I will put a link to the website so you can read the schedule for the weekend.

Basically there was opportunity for fellowship, service projets (including writing letters to oppressed Christians worldwide, helping with prison Bible studies, and packing food for the Midwest Food Bank organization), singing, food, and several different talks surrounding our churches recent mission and world relief efforts and encouraging everyone to "think global and act local" as we strive to advance the kingdom of God and be mindful of the lost souls living next door and on the far side of the world.

Great event, good pictures! Mostly, because our Lord's joy is shining upon all of you - therefore the cheerful hearts!

Great shots! Thanks for sharing them. It looks like Gridley got quite the turn out (and I saw a lot of familiar faces in there!), it's great to see so many people (even married/engaged ones!) working for the Lord~
