A group of about 55 young people from Bluffton, Latty, Leo, Lacrosse, and Columbus all traved down to Athens, Alabama for an annual church weekend event. It was a wonderful time to be with friends. We thank the LORD for His protection on the road. Thank you to all the drivers who put time in on the road and the organizers of the trip.

I am so thankful for all the fellowship on the road, at the hotel, and while in Alabama. It was such a blessing to be with friends again and to meet many new friends. I definately enjoyed hearing different testimonies on Sunday night and I loved doing special numbers with fellow singers and I loved directing a few as well. I feel that the love of Christ was evident through everyone throughout this trip and God was glorified.

I also enjoyed laughing at the many funny moments over these few short days. One great moment was when Joe had the opportunity to "impress" a bus load of sisters with his driving abilities at the Indy church parking lot:) There was lots more to the weekend of course but I don't have time to talk about all of it.
