Mike Davis has been a commercial artist for nearly 40 years. Beginning to paint signs while still in high school and continuing in the sign business, silk screen and graphic arts industry until becoming a textile designer in 1991, he is one of a handful of Jacquard Leno designers in the world today.

Since moving to North Carolina in 1994 he has developed a love of wood working and is recognized as an expert in hand tools and lathe turning.
