As you peacefully proceed down UT 261 toward the town of Mexican Hat you see the occasional sign warning truckers that somewhere up ahead there's a section of road with 10% grades and gravel.
Then suddenly, as you round a corner you are presented with the narrowest, slipperiest, no-guard rail fall to your death 1,100 ft. drop you have ever seen.
My photos fall short of the experience, sort of like no photo can convey the Grand Canyon experience, but hopefully they'll give some idea.
