As amazing as many of the other pictures are, I think this has to be one of my favorites -- and one that I just now discovered. The composition is really intriguing, with the crowd snaking off in the background, balanced by the partially cropped horse and rider in the foreground. And the fact that in the midst of all the chaos, in this very public setting, the rider is taking the time to thank her horse. I know you say you just point and shoot, but you really do have a gift for capturing moments like these.
