Just wanted to say that the photos are magnificent, but have a question for you.
I am new to photography and have a Canon S50 which is not in the same league as the Nikon D70. I was contemplating buying the Canon EOS 10D purely becasue it has the 'Depth Of Field' control on it's knob. I love the this 'bokeh' effect where the foreground is clear as crystal, but the background is softly blurred. I don't know if this can be done on my S50, but I've tried and failed before. Maybe I don't know which are the correct settings? Anyway, the D70 is a terrific camera and looks to be better than than the 10D, so my question is, "how do you achieve the bokeh effect using the D70?". I hope the answer to that isn't too complicated as I know very little about cameras as yet.
Thank you for allowing me to view your gallery.
