Sunday September 14 started out on a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee. Much of Jesus’ ministry is around the Sea of Galilee and surrounding area. We had our morning church service on the boat. Later we were entertained by the ships captain as he sang spiritual songs. He had a great testimony of how he came to know Jesus Christ which by the way was a result of hearing the Gospel from many Christian groups renting his boat.

After reaching the shore we visited the “Man In The Galilee Museum”. In the museum is an old boat that was discovered from the Sea of Galilee that dated to around the time of Jesus (photos). Later that day we journeyed to Bethsaida (Mark 8:22), the third most mentioned place in the Gospels. I was overwhelmed with emotions there because I was given the opportunity to preach a sermon to our group which was on the power of the Word of God (photos).

We finished the day going to Capernaum (Matt 8:5) the main center of Jesus’ teachings and also visit the remains of an old Synagogue from the 4th century (see photos). Then we went on the Mount of Beatitudes (Matt 5:1). Then finally to the shores of Tabgha to the place of the Miracle of the Loaves and Fishes (John 6:1, see photo)
