Mobile Quarantine Sitting Area

USS Hornet Museum-Alameda, Ca

When the astronauts returned from the first moon landing it was unknown if they would bring back virus' or other contaminants with them so they were quarantined for three weeks in a converted Airstream trailer. This is the sitting area inside that trailer.

Interesting that the whole trailer was flown to Johnson Space center with the astronauts inside.
