Excellent John. You are the Lotus Master. Since I have had the pleasure to finally take my own lotus photos, I know how difficult shooting these flowers can be.

Though there are alot of flower entries - surprising me a bit as to how calming flowers seem to be to so many - I think this flower choice in particular symolizes 'calm' and tranquility - the oriental connection, and powerful meaning in oriental religions, makes the connection. And of course, a peerless shot of said flower.
