Thank you all for your kind comments! I pass this fountain almost every day and have been admiring the play of light on the water, so this challenge gave me a good excuse to try to capture it.

You sure know how to find the beauty in the simplest things of life Helen; this is really a nice shot! It's been so hot here... I'd love to just sit under this fountain for awhile :-)

Indeed - it speaks to the return of animal life brought on by the warmth, by the return of the wet seasons, and the return of decorative touches like flowing fountains and sparkling ponds, freed from their icy winter bonds.

Don't those drops of water look delicious? If I were a bird I'd bend to take a bath. This fountain fragment fits the theme faithfully.
