This is the pedestrian walkway for the Bainbridge Island ferry in Seattle.

Jeff - good point. If I had it to do over, I'd invert it for a (hopefully) that spooky Escher effect of an upside down staircase (I think that effect was also nicely used in a Freddy Kreuger film). Thanks for your thoughts & comments.

Zeke, no real post-processing here. I just got a really good deal on Ebay for a Kodachrome slide filter for the R1. If I had the time, I'd frame this with a little red-rimmed cardboard matte.

My thoghts on the ferst version apply here too: kids are entuative & parents are mean!!! The contrasts & bleached appearence of the detales is uneaque!!! As I sed in the uther comment, I enjoy the postprocessin' you do, super work!!! I cant say witch one i prefir thou, its a close call & both are well seen!

Thanks for spotting that, Frank.
Followed your advice, professor. ;)

jp, it is a great scene you captured. Right now my preference is the first version. It is more "focussed". IMHO you should try to crop this one from the right to leave out the horizontal part of the bridge. It would still allow to explore more details, keeping the strong composition at the same time, I believe.
Cheers, Frank
