Thanks for the comment! Do you have a large, hi res monitor? I suggest you look again at the largest size. Because the details you are looking for are small, you need to view the largest size, otherwise it doesn't look as sharp. Also, I did downsize this in Photoshop just to keep the file size smaller. Otherwise, no retouching.

I'm learning that people want to see "tack sharp" objects in this type of setup. Then again, I intentionally didn't want any clock face to be tack sharp in this particular case due to the subject. Each is "off" in some way - some more so than others. The Braun is fairly sharp, but the face was oriented to give just a slight glare to make it a little "cloudy". I was happy with the moving watch face - blurred - which softens the numbers, but you can still see detail.

The sharpest element in the image is the watch fob - this done intentially since it's the most abstract. But this might not be the most pleasing. Perhaps it's just confusing.

I like the composition, and exposure is good, but I really want to see something sharply in focus and I can't! Perhaps the black Braun clock is sharp but I'm not sure... if either the ornate silver watch band or the gold wristwatch (something shiny) was tack-sharp, maybe then?.....
