Being Drawn to the Light.............Fremiet

The National Gallery

This is a "moving sidewalk" connecting the East Wing with The National Gallery. The wreaths on the right and the tunnel effect drew me to it. I knew the result would be grainy with an element of blur, but that, given my perverse nature, drew me closer. The final result needed something to bring to life the "feel" of the tunnel, and the movement of the silhouettes. So after some minimal PS adjustments - a tweak with FT and an unusual frame accentuated some of the energy of the scene and infused it with some of its appealing energy.

You've really captured the sense of motion quite well, Fremiet. And your framing is so creative and effective! When I opened up the image I thought, this is a place I've been to many times -- and sure enough, it is. Helen

Creative and effective use of framing on this shot. Not only pulls you to the light, it yanks you there! Erichocinc.

Great shot Fremiet... I would never have thought of what you did with the framing. Mark J

John, you nailed this. The framing really accentuates the image. Jim/Shutter
