6th: Too Close for Comfort
by Helen Betts

Washington, D.C.

We hiked all over Alexandria, Virginia, on Saturday in search of an old house I (thought I) had seen which was two residences in one structure, with two adjacent front doors, but to no avail. On Sunday I found something similar in downtown D.C., but wasn't satisfied with it color-wise. However on Monday I ran across this just down the street from our house on Capitol Hill.

Very nice find of this symmetric doors with several geometric formations. The bricks give a nice frame to them. MCsaba

Great close-up crop of this building - I love the symmetry, colors, and reflections in the windows!
