Great shot Eric. Is she a Maine Coon? She looks like a grey version of my Lady Fiona who is a coon. She is a brat cat and this girl look like she could give you a run for your money too. ;) Ann C

1 second exposure, with a small maglite being beamed on the cat. Otherwise, just the lights from the tree. Glad you like the picture! Erichocinc

I really like this picture - nice composition, very sharp and great lighting. BTW, how did you do the lighting and was the camera hand held?

Thanks all. This is a photo op every year, as our cat Missy LOVES the Christmas tree. That's why the tree is up against the railing; we've woven branches through the rails to keep her from knocking it over! Erichocinc

I love this! (I love cats!) My cat used to nestle herself on top of the presents under the tree - removing the bows if they got in her way. :) -faye
